How sync works, free and Premium
On the free version, your entries are kept on the device you logged them on. On Apple and Android they are included in your own iCloud or Google device backup, the same as any other app's data. Nothing moves between your devices, and Windows has no free backup of any kind.
Premium's sync connects them. Sign in, turn on Sync across your devices in Settings, and your ledger follows you between Apple, Android, Windows and Linux. Each device encrypts the copy before it leaves, so we cannot read it. A new device is handed the key by one of your other signed-in devices, so there is no recovery code to lose.

Already subscribed to Premium?
Bought on the App Store or Google Play. Premium follows your store account. After a reinstall or on a new phone, use Restore purchases on the Premium screen.
Want Premium on another platform too? On the device you subscribed on, open Settings, go to Account and sign in with Apple, Google or your email. Then sign in the same way on your other devices.
Bought on this website. Open the app, go to Settings, then Account, and sign in with the email address you paid with. We email a six digit code to that address. You can do that on each device you use.
Signing in carries your subscription. Your ledger moves only with Sync, which is a separate switch in Settings.
Changing or canceling
Bought here? Cancel or update your card from the receipt Stripe emails you. Bought on the App Store or Google Play? Cancel from your store account's list of subscriptions. Either way, Premium runs to the end of the period you paid for.
Canceling leaves every decision you logged exactly where it is. App Lock turns off when Premium ends, and comes back without setting it up again if you subscribe again.
Try Premium before you pay
In the free version you can choose a category for any decision and make a second goal, and both are kept. The paywall only appears when you save something Premium, and whatever you chose lights up the moment you upgrade. Planning a spend, the check-in and the countdown to the check-in are free for everyone, and you can try logging a Diff in your browser without installing anything.
